Luis Zerón has edited series for Netflix, HBO and VIX, feature films, documentaries, music videos and commercials. Based in Mexico City, he is a member of the AMAE (Spanish association of editors).
Luis was Lead Editor for the Netflix global hit series “Tryptich” (2023) and “Dark Desire S1 and S2” (2020-2022), “Yankee” (2019, Netflix), and editor on “Ingobernable” (2018, Netflix), “El Chapo” (2017, Netflix), and “Sr Ávila” (2016, HBO) an International Emmy Award-winner.
He recently worked in the series “Casa Meraki” (2023) for Vix. The documentary series “Out of Reach: The Struggle of the American Dream” (2024). And the documentary series “Tren Maya: Justicia y Bienestar Para el Sureste” with more than 3 million views in Youtube (2024).
He has a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from Maine Media College, a Masters degree in Film Editing from ESCAC in Barcelona and a BA in Communications from the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla. Also has attended different workshops with top professionals in the industry. He is part of the MFA faculty at Maine Media College and has created a series of workshops related to editing.
